Hillsborough Rd plan open for public comment

Good news and bad news on the Hillsborough Rd widening project.

After I was able to secure $35m for this project in last year's State Budget, Transport for NSW has finally released a full concept design and invited public comment.

The bad news is that work is not likely to start until 2025. The delays to these projects from within TfNSW are incredibly frustrating, especially when funding has already been secured. I'll be doing everything I can to speed this process up.

In a nutshell, the single-lane sections of Hillsborough Rd will be widened and signalised intersections will be built at the Crockett St intersection and the Chadwick St intersection near the dog showgrounds.
