Info session on new flight paths

As you may be aware, flight paths for aircraft into and out of Newcastle Airport are being reviewed and changed. This is partly to do with increased passenger flights and to accommodate the demands of the RAAF base and the new Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. I've been briefed on the plan and kept updated by Air Services Australia and I can tell you that these changes will have very little impact on people living in my Lake Macquarie electorate. I can also assure that airspace around Belmont Airport will not be impacted. Having said that, I know many of you are interested in this issue. If you are, Air Services Australia will be holding an online info session next Thursday August 11 from 7pm.
