¿ The following advice has been issued this afternoon by NSW SES Lake Macquarie Unit and NSW SES Cooranbong Unit. Please take note of it.
ADVICE TO LAKE MACQUARIE RESIDENTS
With the forecasted weather over the next week ahead, we are asking that the community takes the necessary steps to prepare themselves and their properties for the heavy rain that is coming.
Some things to consider:

Enjoy the school holidays, safe travels and never drive, walk or ride in flood water.
We also ask the community to remain vigilant in minimising and reporting damage.

¿ ¿ Avoid parking your vehicles under trees.
¿ ¿¿ Report all instances of powerlines down or arching immediately to Ausgrid on 13 13 88.
