COVID UPDATE - 11AM, SUNDAY MARCH 13 Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 22 Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 1 Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 965 Covid patients in NSW ICU: 44 (20 requiring ventilation) New cases in Hunter-New England Health district in past 24 hours: 1,274 ( 445 PCR + 829 RAT). New cases statewide since yesterday: 13,093 (5,226 PCR + 7,867 RAT) Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 7 Lives lost in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours: 1( A man in his 70s from Maitland LGA). My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.)
STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES- 95.9% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94.4% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 57% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine*
- 83.6% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 79.1% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 48.3% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
