¿ WALK-IN VACCINATION CLINIC: HNE Health is holding a walk-in vaccination clinic at Booragul tomorrow (Sunday, Oct 31). The clinic will be held at Lake Macquarie High School (16 Marmong St, Booragul) from 10am to 1pm. Everyone aged 12 and older is welcome. Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Just bring a mask with you along with some ID and your Medicare card.
¿ HOUSEHOLD CONTACT RULE CHANGES: As I reported in recent days, the rules around household contacts of people isolating have changed, and this has been specifically targeted at parents of children forced to isolate after a school contact. I've put a fact sheet for close contacts and the people they live with on my website HERE.
¿ REGIONAL-SYDNEY TRAVEL: The rule which currently restricts travel between Greater Sydney (inc the Central Coast) WILL be lifted on Monday (Nov 1) for fully vaccinated people. I know that will come as a huge relief for many people in the local area who have family and friends just to our south on the Central Coast, and in Sydney.
¿ TESTING: Testing remains a really important part of our battle with Covid-19. Please don't be complacent. If you experience any symptoms, get tested as soon as possible.
¿ QUESTIONS: Please see my Facebook or Website pages for answers to frequently asked questions. Service NSW also has a 24/7 hotline where people are available to answer questions. You can reach them on 13 77 88.
