Parliament to debate Myuna bay petition

Our Myuna Bay petition will be formally debated in the NSW Parliament today (Thursday) at 4.30pm.

I tabled a new bunch of petitions this week, bringing the total number of signatures to 20,000.

It was an extraordinary effort and a reflection of how angry our community is about the closure and how the decision was made.

Please be aware that while the Parliament will not make a decision tomorrow on any reopening, the debate is an important step towards achieving that outcome while we wait for the independent review to be completed.
