Full support for new Cancer Council campaign

The Cancer Council's Hunter branch is a wonderful organisation which I have worked closely with over many years.

They do some tremendous work and have created informed policy which supports the local community and addresses major health issues.

Today I formally backed their latest campaign to reduce the impacts of cancer in our community.

The new campaign aims to protect workers and patrons from secondhand tobacco smoke in pubs and clubs; provide tougher controls on cigarette vending machines; the removal of junk food advertising on Government property; and funding for public lymphoedema services across NSW.
