NourishEd opens new premises

The ribbon was cut on NourishEd's new premises in Toronto West today.

The team outgrew their first location in under two years and required an upgrade with extra space to accommodate their clients and provide dedicated spaces for outreach and support services.

NourishEd supports individuals and families from all walks of life by providing access to a food pantry which has provided 2500 low-cost grocery hampers and over 820 free hampers to people facing the most severe hardship.

More than 1700 individuals across over 7200 visits have found support inside doors of NourishEd from the amazing team of volunteers.

Whether through support services, groceries, a hot meal or a conversation, the team, headed by the incredible Nic Cade, have created a safe and respectful space for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Congratulations on your new home NourishEd, I know it will be a hub of care and kindness. I wish I could have attended the grand opening and I can't wait to come for a tour of the new facility and hear your plans for the future.
