Heaven Can Wait Charity Sailing Regatta celebrates 20 years with two big donations

Can you believe the Heaven Can Wait - Charity Sailing Regatta has now been running for 20 years?

It was wonderful to join organisers today as they handed over an incredible $75,000 to the Hunter branch of the Cancer Council NSW Home Help Program, along with $5,000 to Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie.

Since its inception, the Charity Regatta has raised around $800,000 for these organisations. Today they also announced that, from July, they will fully fund the operational costs of the Cancer Council’s Transport to Treatment service (and now need some volunteer chauffeurs

 I was also pleased to make my own donation to support these amazing, life-saving organisations.
