Morisset High School leaders, NSW Swifts and Giants visit the Parliament of NSW

It was great to welcome student leaders from Morisset High School to Parliament of NSW this week for a behind-the-scenes look at how our Parliament works.
The group learned about the history of Australia's oldest Parliament, the role elected representatives play in their communities and saw democracy in action!
It’s always encouraging to see young people taking an interest in leadership and civic life.
Parliament House also went a little sporty during the week with a visit from players from the NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball as part of the Parliamentary Friends of Netball.
A few MPs even tried their hand at shooting some hoops — with mixed results!
