Are you ready for it? October 1 marks the official start of the bushfire season in NSW.
This weekend is Get Ready Weekend, with NSW RFS Mandalong Brigade and Cooranbong Rural Fire Brigade hosting community information events to help us all get bush fire ready and know what to do in case of an emergency.
This week Member for Blue Mountains Trish Doyle MP and I met with our new NSW Rural Fire Service Commissioner Trent Curtain at Parliament of NSW to speak about the season ahead.
