NourishEd Australia opens today in Toronto!
I was invited to the grand opening of NourishEd Australia in Toronto this morning and saw the youthful enthusiasm of Nic and Jeremy, who have both worked so hard to give life to this incredible frontline service built to support the community’s most vulnerable, disadvantaged and at risk.
The NourishEd Pantry Project aims to provide food & nourishment to as many people as possible, with no pre-requisites or barriers to access. It is their ultimate goal to see food insecurity & unnecessary hunger eliminated in Lake Macquarie.
NourishEd currently receive no government funding and are a completely community driven initiative. Their aim is to provide support options to relieve the everyday pressures of our region's at-risk populations.
