But sometimes we need to state the obvious! So.. Just a small reminder as we batten down the hatches!

Turn on your headlights and take care while driving on the roads, as flash flooding can occur very quickly and without warning.

If you come across flooded roads, please turn around and find an alternative route. Never drive through flood waters.

Clean gutters, downpipes and drains, secure and put away any loose items around your backyard and home, and trim trees and branches.

Make sure to have a plan in place in case of an emergency, and stay up to date with local forecasts and warnings.
