Toronto Foreshore Revitalisation

What's happening here?

The Toronto Foreshore revitalisation will continue in April 2024, with $1 million in upgrades to enhance the Toronto Baths funded by the NSW Government’s Places to Swim program.

The project, delivered by Lake Macquarie City Council will create a fully enclosed and inclusive space with improved accessibility.

Expected to be completed by late June 2024, the upgrades include:

• a jetty extension

• an accessibility ramp with handrails

• replacement of existing jetty decking

• netting around the internal perimeter to enclose the swimming area and prevent the entry of large marine fauna.

This ensures that Toronto Baths is a welcoming space for everyone in the community to enjoy.

Access to the baths will be closed during construction.
