Raising community awareness about Domestic Violence

Domestic violence against women remains a scourge on our society and unfortunately it is a real problem in Lake Macquarie.

Today I'm at the Toronto Foreshore, joining with the NSW Police Force, Rotary Club of Toronto - NSW Got Your Back Sista Lake Macquarie Police District, Newcastle Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service, NSW Department of Communities and Justice Housing.

We've all come together to raise awareness in the community about domestic and family violence and to showcase the services and supports that are available to anyone experiencing domestic or family violence.
