School zones are back

School returns this week across Lake Macquarie, and with this comes the return of School buses and School zones.
Be aware of children alighting from buses and give adequate space for maximum visibility. Give way to buses entering traffic.
Slow down to 40 in school zones 8-9:30am and 2:30-4pm, and around buses when lights are flashing.
Be safe on the roads during busy times and watch for kids walking or riding bikes to and from school.
