Big crowds attend Anzac Day services

The day started for many at a local Dawn Service. Mine was at Speers Point before attending services at Dora Creek and later at Rathmines Memorial Park.
Such a beautiful day that belied the grim reality of so much of what our service men and women experienced in times of war or in service to their country as peace keepers or helping in times of natural disaster. Thank you to all of our current service men and women and to those who work so hard to keep the stories and memory of former and deceased Service personnel alive.
