The Queen of Morisset Spinners turns 100

I was absolutely delighted to join the 'Queen of Morisset Spinners and Weavers' Marjorie Whitbourne today to celebrate her 100th birthday.
Reaching 100 is an amazing accomplishment in itself, but to hear about everything Marjorie has achieved over the past century was truly incredible.
She's the mother of seven children, has 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Marjorie joined Morisset Spinners and Weavers in 1986 and is still an active and loved member. She's still making fluffy cushions for sick children at Ronald McDonald House and rainbow blankets for young children to help them learn their colours.
In 2001 she was a member of the Morisset Crafty Crafters group which became world champions in the 'Back to Back Challenge', where a team comprising a shearer and spinners turn freshly shorn fleece into an adult jumper in a record time of just over six hours.
Well done Marjorie, and I again wish you a very happy birthday!
