¿ Here’s another 23,653,955 reasons why it’s so hard for Labor and the Coalition to properly reform the gaming sector and rein in gambling advertising.

¿ It’s been revealed that Labor accepted $12,171,341 in donations from clubs, pubs and gaming companies between 1999 and 2021. The Liberal-National Coalition accepted donations of $11,482,614. The major parties are not only addicted to pokie revenue, they’re addicted to donations from the gambling industry. We can only guess what that money buys.

¿ Proper gaming reform should not be controlled by those pumping their gambling profits into the Labor, Liberal and National party coffers.

¿ Cashless gaming is recommended by the NSW Crime Commission and every major gambling reform group in the State. It’s way beyond time that the parties listened to them, instead of counting their donations from the gambling industry.
