$700,000 in State funds for local youth services

A bit of good news for local youth support services today. I can confirm that two valuable local organisations will share more than $700,000 in State funding.

Hunter Community Legal Centre will receive a $296,263 grant towards continuing its Hunter Youth Legal Support Service.

Lake Macquarie Suicide Prevention and Support Network will receive $438,515 to continue its Connected to Care program which supports local young people aged 12-18.

My congratulations to both services who do absolutely amazing and essential work in our local community.
