Covid update - Friday

Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 15 (down 3 since yesterday). Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 2 (same as yesterday). Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 1000 (down 35 since yesterday)
¿ COVID UPDATE - 3pm, FRIDAY MARCH 4
¿ Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 15 (down 3 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 2 (same as yesterday)
¿ Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 1000 (down 35 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in NSW ICU: 42 (down 1 on the previous day, 18 on ventilation)
¿ New cases in Hunter-New England Health district in past 24 hours: 1077 (down 299 on previous day's figure, 380 PCR + 697 RAT).
¿ New cases statewide since yesterday: 9466 (down 1872 on the previous day, 3416 PCR + 6050 RAT)
¿ New cases in Lake Macquarie over the past four weeks: 2635 (down 19 on previous day).
¿ Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 2 (down 7 on the previous day). This brings the total number of lives lost to Covid in NSW to 1928 (in Australia 5354).
¿ Lives lost in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours: 1 (a man in his 90s from the Greater Taree LGA. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.)

¿ STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.8% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94.4% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 55.1% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine*
- 83.6% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 79% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 47.7% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
