MASK RULES CHANGE TODAY: From today, face masks are only mandatory in airports, hospitals, aged care and health facilities, indoor music festivals of more than 1000 people and on public transport and planes. They are also recommended

¿ MASK RULES CHANGE TODAY: From today, face masks are only mandatory in airports, hospitals, aged care and health facilities, indoor music festivals of more than 1000 people and on public transport and planes. They are also recommended, but not compulsory, if you're in crowded indoor settings where social distancing is difficult.
¿ MASK RULES IN SCHOOLS: The mask rules in schools also change from Monday. Full details on those rules HERE.
¿ Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 18 (down 3 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 2 (up 1 on previous day)
¿ Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 1144 (down 67 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in NSW ICU: 64 (up 5 on the previous day, 28 on ventilation)
¿ New cases in Hunter-New England Health district in past 24 hours: 999 (down 217 on previous day's figure, 328 PCR + 671 RAT).
¿ New cases statewide since yesterday: 7583 (down 688 on the previous day, 2809 PCR + 4774 RAT)
¿ New cases in Lake Macquarie over the past four weeks: 3118 (down 146 on previous day's figure).
¿ Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 6 (down 6 on the previous day). This brings the total number of lives lost to Covid in NSW to 1879 (in Australia 5086).
¿ Lives lost in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours: 0. ¿¿¿

¿ STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.7% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94.3% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 53.1% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 83.6% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 79% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 47.1% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
