Covid update - Wednesday

All of today's figures from NSW Health and HNE Health relate to the 20 hours to 4pm yesterday, not 8pm as is usually the case. From tomorrow onwards, the 24-hour reporting period will be from 4pm one day to 4pm the next.
¿ COVID UPDATE - 11.15am, WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 2

¿ Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 59 (down 5 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 2 (down 1 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 2622 (down 127 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in NSW ICU: 170 (down 16 since yesterday, 72 on ventilation)
¿ New cases in Hunter Health district since yesterday: 1636 (up 135 since yesterday, 791 PCR and 845 RAT)
¿ Covid cases in Lake Macquarie over the past four weeks 8741.
¿ New cases statewide since yesterday: 11,807 (down 1011 on the previous day, PCR 5493 + 6314 RAT)
¿ Lives lost in NSW over the past 24 hours: 27. This brings the total number of lives lost to Covid in NSW to 1451.
¿ Lives lost in the Hunter Health district over the past 24 hours: 3 (One woman and two men aged in their 60s, 90s and 100. One was from Tamworth LGA, one was from Newcastle LGA and one was from Singleton LGA. My sincere condolences go out to their families and friends.)

¿ STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.4% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 94% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 40.6% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine*
- 83.3% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 78.5% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 40.3% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
