Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 55 (down 9 since yesterday). Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 7 (same as yesterday). Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 2722 (down 72 since yesterday).
¿ COVID UPDATE - 12.15pm, THURSDAY JANUARY 27
¿ Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 55 (down 9 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 7 (same as yesterday)
¿ Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 2722 (down 72 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in NSW ICU: 181 (up 6 since yesterday)
¿ New cases in Hunter Health district since yesterday: 2048, down 509 on previous day (1090 PCR and 958 RAT)
¿ New cases statewide since yesterday: 17,316 (down 1196 on the previous day, PCR 9934 + 7382 RAT)
¿ Lives lost in the Hunter Health district in the past 24 hours: 2 (one man and one woman from the Lake Macquarie LGA. One was in their 70s and one was in their 80s. My sincere condolences go out to their families and friends.)
¿ Lives lost statewide in the past 24 hours: 29 (same as previous day).
¿ STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.4% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 93.9% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 36.2% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine*
- 83% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 78.4% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 33.1% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
