¿ COVID UPDATE - 11.30am, WEDNESDAY JANUARY 26
¿ Covid patients currently in Hunter Health district hospitals: 64 (down 17 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in Hunter ICU: 7 (same as yesterday)
¿ Covid patients currently in NSW hospitals: 2794 (down 149 since yesterday)
¿ Covid patients in NSW ICU: 175 (down 8 since yesterday)
¿ New cases in Hunter Health district since yesterday: 2557, up 690 on previous day (1566 PCR and 991 RAT)
¿ New cases statewide since yesterday: 18,512 (up 2518 on the previous day, PCR 12,918 + 8112 RAT)
¿ Lives lost in the Hunter Health district in the past 24 hours: 2 (two women, both were in their 80s. One was from Mid Coast LGA, and one was from Tamworth Regional LGA. My sincere condolences go out to their families and friends.)
¿ Lives lost statewide in the past 24 hours: 29 (same as previous day).
¿ STATEWIDE VACCINATION RATES
- 95.3% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 93.9% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 35.1% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine*
- 82.8% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 78.3% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 31% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
