COVID UPDATE - FRIDAY DECEMBER 10
Zer new cases in Lake Macquarie today.
Lower Hunter: 4 new cases
Hunter health district: 11 new cases.
Statewide: 516 new cases, which is another significant rise on the previous day. Despite that, hospitalisation numbers remain stable, and deaths very low or zero.
Of the new cases in the health district:
- 7 are from Mid Coast LGA
- 2 are from Newcastle LGA
- 2 are from Port Stephens LGA
- Zero cases being treated in hospital locally.
STATEWIDE
- 94.7% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 93% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 81.4% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 77.5% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 90,223 tests
- 516 total new cases
- 158 people in hospital
- 24 people in ICU
- 0 deaths
