Covid update - Monday

There were two new cases in Lake Macquarie over the past 24 hours. Hunter Region: 4 new cases. Hunter health district: 10 new cases. Statewide: 150 new cases but no deaths for the fifth day in a row.

¿ Two new cases in Lake Macquarie today.
¿ Hunter Region: 4 new cases.
¿ Hunter health district: 10 new cases.
¿ Statewide: 150 new cases but no deaths for the fifth day in a row.
¿ OF THE NEW LOCAL CASES:
¿2 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 1 from Glendale
- 1 from Macquarie Hills
¿1 is from Cessnock LGA
- 1 from Cliftleigh
¿1 is from Maitland LGA
- 1 from Rutherford

¿5 are from Mid Coast LGA
- 2 from Wingham
- 1 from Taree
- 1 from Harrington
- 1 from Tuncurry
¿1 is from Armidale LGA
- 1 from Armidale
- 4 of the total active cases are currently being cared for in hospital. 1 is currently in ICU.
- 8 cases are linked. 1 is unlinked and 1 is under investigation.
- 6 were infectious in the community and 3 were isolating while infectious. 1 is under investigation.
¿ STATEWIDE
- 94.5% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 92.4% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 81.3% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 76.5% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
Over the past 24 hours:
- 47,175 tests
- 150 total new cases
- 170 people in hospital
- 25 people in ICU
- 0 deaths
