COVID UPDATE - SATURDAY NOVEMBER 13
13 new cases in Hunter Region, with 39 in HNE Health district.
For the first time since August, there were no deaths recorded statewide over the past 24 hours.
There were 250 new cases reported statewide in the past 24 hours, with 39 of those in the Hunter-New England Area Health District. Of those, however, just 13 are in the Hunter Region with 2 in Lake Macquarie.
OF THE NEW LOCAL CASES IN THE HEALTH DISTRICT:
5 are from Newcastle LGA

4 are from Port Stephens LGA
- 3 from Heatherbrae
- 1 from Raymond Terrace
2 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 1 from Cameron Park
- 1 from Windale
1 is from Cessnock LGA
- 1 from Greta
1 is from Dungog LGA
- 1 from Clarence Town

OF THOSE CASES IN THE HEALTH DISTRICT:
-18 of the total active cases are currently being
cared for in hospital. 3 are currently in ICU.
-29 cases are linked, 7 are unlinked, 3 are still
under investigation.
-21 were infectious in the community. 15 were
isolating while infectious. 3 are still under
investigation.
STATEWIDE:
- 94.1% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 90.8% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
Over the past 24 hours:
- 58,915 tests
- 250 new locally acquired cases
- 5 new overseas acquired cases
- 1 new interstate acquired case
- 256 total new cases
- 228 people in hospital
- 32 people in ICU
- 0 deaths
