Assisted dying bill backed by 30 peak health groups

Our Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill was publicly backed by 30 peak organisations today including NSW Nurses and Midwives' Association, Australian Paramedics Association NSW and NSW Council of the Aging (COTA) who joined us at a media conference outside Parliament.
Those organisations recently surveyed their members and found support for the Bill was between 75% (COTA) and 90% (paramedics).
All things going well, debate should finally start this Friday.
We still have a long fight ahead, but hopefully we see an end to the political games and deliberate delays which have stalled debate so far.
