78 NEW LOCAL CASES
COVID UPDATE - 11.00am Saturday October 23
There were 332 new cases reported statewide in the past 24 hours, with 78 of those in the Hunter-New England health district, including 21 in Lake Macquarie. These new cases take the total number in the latest Hunter outbreak to 2569.

- 92.8% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 83.7% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 64,118 tests

EXPOSURE SITES:

WALK IN VAX CLINIC FOR 12-15yo: Belmont vaccination hub is hosting a Super Walk-in Weekend Pfizer vaccination event for 12-15 year olds today and tomorrow (October 23 and Sunday 24). The hub will open to walk-ins from 8am to 2.45pm – Saturday and Sunday. Children aged 15 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian aged over 18 years. Remember to wear a mask and bring your Medicare card with you.
TESTING: Testing remains a really important part of our battle with Covid-19. Please don't be complacent. If you experience any symptoms, get tested as soon as possible.
