Work to start on Barnsley weir bridge

Lake Mac council has informed me that a contractor has been appointed to build the new Weir Rd Bridge at Barnsley, with work expected to start next month.
That will be great news for the many locals who use Weir Rd through Teralba.
The old weir crossing was significantly damaged during the storms earlier this year and will remain closed for good.
The new bridge, pictured in the artist's impression, is being funded by the Federal Government and the council and should be completed and opened mid next year, all things going well.
