Dobell Arts Festival opens

The opening of the 2021 Dobell Festival of Art Craft at Wangi Workers Club tonight could only be called a huge success!
The quality of work in both art and craft categories was very high and definitely made judging for prizes very difficult.
I was delighted to meet Maya Moore and to be able to learn a little about her beautiful entry “Ayam Wren”.
It truly is a lovely painting and was very deserving of the Commendation that Maya received in a hotly contested catergory.
Congratulations Maya and indeed, congratulations to all entrants and the organisers for such a wonderful 2021 exhibition!
