¿ IMPORTANT COVID UPDATE - Thursday June 17
¿ NSW has now recorded four new cases of community transmission in Sydney's eastern suburbs, although one case is being further investigated as a possible 'false positive' (two are recorded in the graphic below, with a further two identified overnight).
¿ Of those cases, one is the transport driver reported on yesterday, one is a household contact of the driver and the other is a person who visited one of the cafes where the infectious driver had been.
¿ This obviously remains a concern. If you've been to Sydney's eastern suburbs over the past week or any of the venues listed in the following link, please follow NSW Health advice (also on the link) here.
¿ On a positive note, It's now been 315 DAYS days since we had a case of community transmission in the Hunter-New England Health District.
¿ A reminder also that there's a small 'satellite vaccination hub' at Toronto. All people aged 50+ are now eligible for a vaccine and this hub is welcoming everyone - you don't have to be 'on their books'. Inquiries and bookings: 0436 817 128. The vaccination hub at John Hunter Hospital can be contacted on 1800 571 155.
