If you thought the mozzies were having an extended holiday at your place this year, you'd be right.
The recent big wet combined with a warmer-than-usual April has seen mosquito numbers skyrocket, prompting NSW Health to issue a warning.
As we know, the mozzies can transmit viruses such as Ross River and Barmah Forest. They also love dive bombing human ears at three in the morning, I've found!
Just be a bit careful if you're out at dawn and dusk, especially around the lake or near marshy areas. More information and tips on avoiding them here.
