The news remains good - no new cases of community transmission anywhere in NSW for the 46th day in a row. There were 4 new cases among the returned overseas
¿ COVID UPDATE - Thursday March 4
¿ The news remains good - no new cases of community transmission anywhere in NSW for the 46th day in a row. There were 4 new cases among the returned overseas travellers in the past 24 hours.
¿ The Hunter Region has now gone 210 days without a locally-transmitted case.
¿ NSW has started including returned travellers in its 'active case' numbers in line with other States. NSW currently has 47 active cases (all are returned travellers in quarantine). There are 7 in Victoria, 21 in QLD, 3 in WA, 2 in SA, 2 in the ACT and 1 in the NT. Tasmania has zero active cases.
¿ Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
¿ Please continue to stay safe, vigilant and maintain the social distancing.
¿ Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
