?? COVID UPDATE - Saturday January 30
?? Happy to report that the good run continues: no new cases of community transmission anywhere in NSW for the 13th consecutive day.
?? A reminder also that the restrictions in Greater Sydney, the Central Coast and Wollongong were lifted yesterday. The same visitation rules that apply locally are now reflected statewide.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 176 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? There were 2 new cases among the returned overseas travellers in hotel quarantine over the past 24 hours.
?? The number of active cases in NSW is 23. Victoria has 23, just 6 in QLD, 14 in WA and 5 in the NT. South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT all have zero active cases.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested immediately.
