Covid update - Tuesday

There were four new cases of community transmission in the 24 hours to 8pm, and all are in Sydney. There were also 4 new cases among the returned overseas travellers

?? There were four new cases of community transmission in the 24 hours to 8pm, and all are in Sydney. There were also 4 new cases among the returned overseas travellers.
?? The Hunter-New England region has now gone 151 days without a locally-acquired case.
?? Please also remember that the wearing of masks is now mandatory if you’re visiting most indoor places on the Central Coast or Greater Sydney.
?? Australia's death toll remains at 909 with 56 in NSW and 820 in Victoria.
?? NSW now has 192 active cases (as at 8pm). Victoria has 38, there are 17 in QLD, 17 in WA, 13 in SA and 11 in the NT. Tasmania and the ACT have zero. (All States except NSW include overseas traveller cases in their 'active case' numbers. In NSW, the traveller cases are included in the 'being treated' figure in the graphic below.)
?? Please continue to stay safe, vigilant, maintain the social distancing, and wear a mask if you have to visit places where social distancing is difficult.
?? Don't forget, if you have any symptoms, however minor, please self-isolate and get tested as soon as possible.
