Congratulations to a good friend and very deserved winner of this year’s NSW Australian of the Year award Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons.
The award has just been announced in Sydney tonight and I couldn’t be happier for him.
Few would forget Shane’s efforts during this year’s bushfire crisis and few would forget this image of him at a memorial service after the fires.
What a great Australian and an equally great person.
