Boost for our emergency services
22nd October 2020
Really happy to report that our local emergency services have received a significant boost with an expansion of the Public Safety Network (PSN) in the Morisset area.
The PSN is a dedicated emergency communications system which provides all our emergency services with a single communications network.
It proved particularly helpful during the bushfires earlier this year and supports the RFS, police, Fire and Rescue, ambulance and the SES.
It's a $217m network being rolled out across the State and I'm pleased to say that work on that rollout is now complete in the Morisset district.
It will be used for all emergencies and will no doubt make a huge difference to community safety.
