I would like to acknowledge the remarkable career and recent achievements of Carolyn Frame, lead instructress at Coal Point Physie. For the past 55-years, Carolyn has dedicated her life to teaching young women across New South Wales the unique sport of Physical Culture. It's no exaggeration to say she has inspired generations of students to develop confidence, fitness, discipline, and a love for physie. Carolyn began her teaching career at Putney Physie before moving to the Coal Point Club, during this time she also joined the Edith Parsons Physie Board, where she has served for 26 years. At the recent 2025 Edith Parsons Grand Final at Sydney Town Hall, Carolyn's contribution to the sport was officially recognised, when she was asked to sash the 2025 Grand Champion. Notably, five of her own students from Coal Point Physie were selected to compete in the event, with three gaining podium finishes. 14-year-old Miley was crowned champion in her age group, while nine-year-old Emily, and 15-year-old Bridie both secured the bronze medal in their divisions. Congratulations Carolyn on a wonderful career, and well done to Miley, Emily and Bridie.
