Community Building Partnerships
The Community Building Partnership program provides funds for community groups and local councils to invest in community infrastructure. This will provide improved facilities for many groups in Lake Macquarie, with successful projects mostly being buildings and site improvements at sporting and community facilities including childcare centres. These projects would otherwise not be delivered or would wait for years.
Over the last two years there have been 35 projects approved in Lake Macquarie with a total value of $1,124,994.
This year most of the applications were successful and funded totalling $706,000 is being provided for 25 projects. Congratulations to the following successful groups:
