To become a Justice of the Peace you need to be nominated by a Member of Parliament.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over, be of good character and be an Australian citizen. They must also be eligible to vote at a general election in NSW.
Each applicant must also attend an interview with the MP who is providing the nomination.

The online application starts the process but your nomination will still need to be approved and submitted by your State MP.
