COVID UPDATE - TUESDAY NOVEMBER 23
Lake Macquarie: 4 new cases.
Hunter Region: 10 new cases.
Hunter health district: 16 new cases.
Statewide: 173 new cases.
OF THE NEW LOCAL CASES:
4 are from Lake Macquarie LGA
- 3 from Macquarie Hills
- 1 from Charlestown
4 are from Newcastle LGA
- 2 from Broadmeadow
- 1 from Merewether
- 1 from Newcastle East
2 are from Maitland LGA
- 2 from Rutherford

1 is from Moree Plains LGA

STATEWIDE:
- 94.4% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 91.9% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 81% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine
- 75.4% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine
Over the past 24 hours:
- 52,302 tests
- 173 total new cases
- 196 people in hospital
- 34 people in ICU
- 2 deaths
