¿ Another 82 new cases were reported in the Hunter health district in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, including 28 in Lake Macquarie. These new cases take the total number in the latest local outbreak to 1768.

¿ STATUS AND CLOSE CONTACTS: Of those new cases, 62 are linked, 14 are unlinked and 6 are still under investigation. Further, 47 were infectious in the community, while 29 were isolating while infectious and the remaining 6 are still under investigation. We have 1136 active cases in the Hunter Region.
¿ EXPOSURE SITES: Service NSW offices at Wallsend and Cessnock along with sites at Scone, Mount Hutton, Scone, Aberdeen and Singleton are among the latest exposure sites named by Hunter-New England Health overnight. - 73.5% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine

- 769 people in hospital
- 153 people in ICU
- 8 deaths
 
¿ POP-UP VAX CLINIC AT MORISSET: Hunter Health will be holding a pop-up vaccination clinic at Morisset this Wednesday, October 13, in the Masonic Hall at 5 Yambo Street from 10am to 3pm. No appointment is necessary, you just have to walk up. Open to everyone aged 12+, but children 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult. (All Pfizer vax).
