New case at Mandalong mine, new exposure sites

I was advised this morning that a person working at the Mandalong mine near Morisset has tested positive to Covid-19. The worker lives in the Newcastle area.

¿ A couple of quick things to update you on.
¿ MINE CASE: I was advised this morning that a person working at the Mandalong mine near Morisset has tested positive to Covid-19. The worker lives in the Newcastle area. All contacts of the worker are being tested and are isolating as per usual practice and Centennial Coal is undertaking a deep clean of all related areas.
¿ TREE LOPPERS FINED: The tree loppers from Sydney I reported yesterday have been fined a total of $33,000 by police for breaches of the travel and mask rules. Sadly, the potential damage caused by these guys may be already done. We'll wait and see..
¿ NEW EXPOSURE SITES: HNE Health has named a number of new exposure sites in the past 24 hours. They include sites at: Charlestown, Charlestown Square, Whitebridge and Shoal Bay.

Anyone who attended the following venues on the specified dates and times are casual contacts (unless they have been contacted by NSW Health as close contacts) and must get tested and isolate until a negative test result is received:
