Wyee sewer: connections from June 1

Some great news for Wyee residents: Hunter Water has informed me that residential landowners will be able to apply for connections to the new sewer network from next Tuesday, June 1.
After years of waiting and decades of expensive pump-outs, we now have a $36m sewer network ready to go.
Letters have been sent to all Wyee landowners today, including information sheets on how to get connected.
Hunter Water is encouraging residents to get a few quotes from licensed plumbers before engaging one, and then apply to Hunter Water for connection.
It's been a long fight hasn't it? I'm so glad to see this project through. I really want to thank every Wyee resident for their patience and support, and also the State Government for funding it and Hunter Water which has managed the build.
