¿ COVID VACCINATION UPDATE - Thursday May 20
¿ NSW Health has announced that people aged 40-49 can now register their interest for the Pfizer vaccination at John Hunter Hospital's vaccination hub. Eligible people can do so here.
¿ A reminder also that there's a small 'satellite vaccination hub' at Toronto. All people aged 50+ are now eligible for a vaccine and this hub is welcoming everyone - you don't have to be 'on their books'. I had a call from the hub yesterday to say there are plenty of appointment slots available. Inquiries and bookings: 0436 817 128.
¿ Meanwhile, it's now been 287 days since we had a case of community transmission in the Hunter-New England Health District. Good job!
¿ As a side note, I don't allow debate about vaccines on these posts and comments to that affect will be deleted. I encourage people to get the correct information from NSW Health, their GP or health professional, not from me or the resident 'experts' on Facebook. Thanks!
