7pm Sunday: FLOOD AND WEATHER UPDATEThe next wave of heavy rain is expected to reach our district about 7.30pm. The Bureau is advising that we’ll keep getting these waves throughout tomorrow and into Tuesday.Can we just take a minute to thank our amazing SES volunteers who have been filling and distributing sandbags since Thursday, and assisting those in trouble and removing fallen trees. Thanks also to Cooranbong, Dora Creek and Morisset Peninsula RFS members who have helped out, and those in the community who have just rocked up to help. We’ll thank you properly when all this passes, but please know we’re appreciating your efforts!Please also be aware of large potholes which are appearing on many of our local roads. If you have to drive anywhere, please be aware and drive to the conditions.Reach out if you need help.
