ROAD CLOSURESSES NEEDS HELP
Lake Macquarie City Council has advised that the following roads have been closed due to water over the road:
 Oakdale Rd, Gateshead
 Warners Bay Rd, Charlestown
 Weir Rd, Barnsley
 Wangi Rd, Toronto
 Pillapai Road Brightwaters.
Please drive to the conditions, avoid flood waters, and keep informed of any road closures before venturing out.

WEATHER UPDATE
A severe weather warning remains in place for the Hunter for continuing rain through Sunday and into Monday. Parts of the local area have now received more than 300mm of rain since Thursday.
ASSISTANCE NEEDED BY SES
Due to an overwhelming number of requests for assistance and the amount of sandbags required, local SES volunteers have been stretched thin.
They are asking members of the community who are available to assist with preparing sandbags to help. Even if you can only spare a short while, every bit helps.
The Boolaroo depot is located on the Cnr of Fourth st & Creek Reserve rd, Boolaroo.
The Cooranbong unit is located at 513 Freemans Dr, Cooranbong.
